Week at a Glance, January 13

-Enlightenment Thinkers: John Locke, Baron Montesquieu, Jean-Jacques Rousseau

-Wrapping up our notes on the Thinkers and beginning the essay (see info below)

- This week we started learning about the Enlightenment period. Students will take notes on four Enlightenment thinkers, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Baron Montesquieu, Thomas Hobbes and John Locke. They will then use this information to write a persuasive essay explaining which Enlightenment thinker had the greatest impact on the Age of Enlightenment.
