Kindergarten- 8th Grade Enroll Jeffco Instructions

Round 1 Choice Enrollment Begins December 7th, 2021
Round 2 Choice Enrollment Begins January 20th, 2022


If you are NEW to Jefferson County School District

  1. Create a Jeffco Connect account. For assistance with Jeffco Connect, please call our office or refer to the reference guide HERE.
  2. Then go to Enroll Jeffco and login with the credentials you created for Jeffco Connect. Select your school of choice (RMAE) and submit your application.

Existing Jefferson County School District Families

  1. Login to your Jeffco Connect account to verify that your parent contact information is up-to-date for current students. Add your new student to the family account if applicable. For assistance with Jeffco Connect, please call our office or refer to the reference guide HERE
  2. Then go to Enroll Jeffco and login with the same credentials you have for Jeffco Connect. Select your school of choice (RMAE) and submit your application. Your student will retain his/her seat at their current school UNTIL an offer is accepted at a school other than their current school.

Once the 1st Round Enrollment Window closes on Friday, January 14th, 2022

Offers from Round 1 will be sent to families on Tuesday, January 25th, 2022 and families will have three days to login to Enroll Jeffco to Accept or Decline the enrollment offer.

  • Accepted Offers: Welcome to the RMAE Community!  We will ask  you to complete the enrollment process where you will provide health information, immunization records and birth certificate copies.  If a student is waitlisted for another school, accepting our offer will not remove their waitlist priority for the other school. 
  • Declined Offers or No Response (expired): We wish you the best at your school of choice. If you change your mind at a later date and wish to re-enroll at RMAE, you may do so through the Round 2 Choice Enrollment (first come, first served).

Office hours are from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm on school attendance days.  Wait lists are maintained throughout the summer and openings will be filled as they become available.   Be sure your contact information in the EnrollJeffco system is the best way to reach you in the event you are offered a position.

Administrative Transfers

The administrative transfer option is only available for the purpose of moving a student from one Jeffco school to another outside of  the choice enrollment time period. The student must submit a Jefferson County Administrative Transfer form to RMAE and a copy to their current school.

Other Helpful Information

Kindergarten Tuition -As a result of Colorado's HB19-1262 being passed and signed by the Governor in May, 2019, full-day kindergarten will be funded like other grade levels. Therefore, we will no longer collect tuition to cover the costs of the partial funding gap.

Student fees apply to all grade levels and are similar to the fees charged by all Jeffco Public Schools. These fees cover the costs of consumables used by the students.
