Reading: Unit 1, week 6- This week we read Dig Dig Dig! Activities included: handwriting practice, letter T, amazing words, sight-word practice, guided reading, rhyming, fine motor activities.

Science/Social Studies: Intro to Europe!

Core Rhymes/Stories/Poem: Jack Be Nimble, My Nose, Grasshopper and the Ant

Math: Students took their first unit test on Chapter 1

Reading: Unit 2, week two- Activities included: handwriting practice (names and letters M-T), sight-word practice, guided reading, rhyming, fine motor activities.

Human Body: We are learning about Human Bodies and building our own bodies!

Core Rhymes/Stories/Poem: Little Boy Blue and Little Bo Peep

 Friday folders have been sent home with your child. Parent info is on the left, school work is on the right. Please return friday folders on monday!

Student pictures from picture day can be ordered online.

 Please complete and return RED homework folders by friday and take out old/graded homework from folders!

 The link below is to a fun math practice as the kids prepare for their MAP testing in the winter. Just 30 minutes a week has proved to increase math skills and computer skills. Each unit is only about 10 minutes long.
